dc.description.abstract	El presente trabajo se centra en la creación de un inventario además de su valoración de lugares de interés geológico en el municipio de Aratoca, ubicado en el departamento de Santander, y sus áreas circundantes. Además de la creación de georutas en torno a estos sitios y la creación de material didáctico de divulgación para ser compartido en redes sociales con el fin de incentivar el conocimiento geológico de la región, así como un mapa de cartografía temática escala 1:130.000 donde se ubiquen las georutas propuestas, para la creación de estas georutas se valoraron 19 geotopos sobre los cuales se registró material audiovisual para la creación de videos descriptivos de cada georuta además infografías en forma de publicaciones para redes sociales como Instagram con el objetivo de dar a conocer los elementos más destacados del municipio en pro de incentivar el apropiamiento del conocimiento y el geoturismo. El trabajo se basa en investigaciones geológicas detalladas que incluyen la identificación y descripción de formaciones geológicas únicas, estructuras geológicas, y otros elementos de interés. Además, se lleva a cabo una valoración de estos lugares en términos de su relevancia geológica, potencial educativo, turístico y científico, así como su importancia para la comunidad local.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The present work focuses on the creation, as well as the assessment, of geological points of interest in the municipality of Aratoca, located in the department of Santander, and its surrounding areas. In addition, it involves the development of georoutes around these sites and the creation of educational promotional material to be shared on social media platforms with the aim to encourage geological knowledge of the region, as well as a 1:130,000 scale thematic cartography map where the proposed georoutes are located, 19 geotopes were assessed for the creation of these georoutes. Divided into three georoutes, for which audiovisual material was recorded to before the creation of promotion videos for each rute also the cration of infographic publications for social media like Instagram introducing the most prominent elements of the municipality in order to encourage the appropriation of knowledge and geotourism. This work is grounded in detailed geological research, encompassing the identification and description of unique geological formations, geological structures, and other points of interest. Furthermore, an evaluation of these locations is carried out in terms of their geological. significance, educational potential, touristic and scientific value, as well as their importance to the local community.
