| dc.description.abstract | El trabajo grado busca identificar y analizar las debilidades y potencialidades del municipio de Curiti frente a la entrada en funcionamiento del Parque Nacional del Chicamocha - PANACHI, con el objetivo de realizar recomendaciones que permitan al municipio aprovechar y potencializar sus ventajas turísticas. Inicialmente, se realizo un estudio de las teorías sobre desarrollo local, lo cual esboza la necesidad de contar con una serie de condiciones que permitan el aprovechamiento de los recursos existente en el territorio, mediante la adecuada articulación y cooperación de todos los actores públicos y privados, buscando mejorar la calidad de vida de sus miembros y aumentando la productividad de su territorio y la competitividad a nivel regional y nacional. Seguidamente, para conocer el estado actual del sector turístico, se efectúo una caracterización con la información disponible en el Esquema de Ordenamiento Territorial y en el Plan de Desarrollo Municipal, así mismo se complemento esta información mediante entrevistas in Œ situ a representantes de diferentes sectores económicos, sociales y culturales de Curiti. Teniendo como base esta información se construyo la matriz DOFA, mediante la identificación y análisis de las variables más relevantes, agrupadas en tres sectores: ambiental, socioeconómico y funcional. Del análisis de los factores internos: fortalezas y debilidades, y los factores externos: oportunidades y amenazas se formularon estrategias con el propósito de implementar acciones que permitan el desarrollo sostenible del turismo en la región como: mejoramiento de malla vial, capacitación en la prestación de servicios turísticos, programas de promoción del turismo local, mejorar y optimizar la infraestructura hotelera, y fortalecimiento de los servicios de salud y saneamiento básico. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This graduation project is an attempt to identify and analyze the weaknesses and strengths ofthe municipality of Curiti with regard to the opening of the Chicamocha National Park"Panachi", (for its acronym in Spanish) with the objective of elaborating a series ofrecommendations that will allow the municipality to seize and reinforce its touristicadvantages. Initially, we elaborated a study of the different theories about local development, which tracesthe need of counting with a series of conditions that allow the use of the existing resources inthe territory, by means of the adequate articulation and cooperation of all the actors from thepublic and private sector, in order to improve the quality of life of its members, increasing theproductivity and competitiveness of its territory both in the regional and national field. We alsomade a characterization with the information available in the Territorial Organization Scheme(E.O.T. In Spanish) and the Development Plan for Municipalities, to know the actual state ofthe touristic sector and we complemented this information with interviews to severalrepresentatives of the economic, social and cultural sectors of Curiti. Taking this information into account, we built the DOFA matrix, by identifying and analyzingthe most relevant variables grouped into three sectors: Environmental, socio-economic, andoperational. Also from the analysis of the internal factors: Strengths and weaknesses. Andthe external factors: Opportunities and threats. Strategies were formulated with the purposeof implementing actions that will allow the sustainable development of tourism in the region,such as: The improvement of the road network, training people on how to offer touristicservices, local tourism promotion programs, improving and optimizing public services'infrastructure, and reinforcing public health and basic sanitation services | |
