dc.description.abstract	En el presente seminario de investigación se aborda el tema de Turismo de Salud, como una actividad empresarial que ha permitido que emerjan nuevas formas de negocio en los sectores públicos y privados, debido a las distintas necesidades y requerimientos de los turistas que viajan en busca de mejorar las condiciones de salud. En este contexto el seminario de investigación profundiza en los orígenes, evolución, los cambios de las vocaciones empresariales de Santander, los efectos de las bonanzas económicas regionales y el impacto que tienen las innovaciones empresariales asociadas con la industria del turismo de salud a nivel nacional e internacional, seguidamente el sector en Colombia específicamente Santander y el área metropolitana de Bucaramanga. El objetivo general del trabajo: Consistió en estudiar las características de los emprendimientos asociados con el turismo en salud en Santander desde la perspectiva de la historia del empresariado colombiano, apoyado/sustentado en el trabajo de grado en seminario de investigación. Esto sirvió para dar inicio al análisis de los principales emprendimientos empresariales regionales, las innovaciones ofertadas al mercado turístico y las transformaciones promovidas en los servicios del sector salud de Colombia. A partir de un enfoque de carácter cualitativo, se llevó a cabo un estudio hermenéutico y caracterizado por el análisis de contenido de las lecturas seleccionadas para el desarrollo del seminario, revisión documental en libros, Trabajos de grado y artículos, finalmente se profundizó la temática a través de las visitas y entrevistas realizadas al Hospital Internacional de Colombia y la clínica internacional FOSUNAB. El estudio del turismo de salud permitió reconocer las tendencias productivas y la diversidad empresarial, la historia del empresariado, los principales emprendimientos asociados con el turismo en salud, además las ofertas específicas de destinos, productos o servicios turísticos que caracterizan los centros clínicos y hospitalarios de Santander, las transformaciones promovidas en los servicios del sector salud que han aportado dinamismo histórico a las perspectivas de crecimiento competitivo, a partir del desarrollo económico y social que busca proyectar la competitividad turístico-sanitaria de Santander. *
dc.description.abstractenglish	In this Research Seminar, the topic of Health Tourism is approached, as a business activity that has allowed new forms of business to emerge in the public and private sectors, due to the different needs and requirements of tourists traveling in search of how to improve health conditions. In this context, the research initially goes into detail about the origins, evolution, changes in Santander's business vocations, the effects of regional economic bonanza and the impact of business innovations associated with the national and international health tourism industry, then focuses on Colombia specifically Santander and the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga. The general objective of the work was to study the characteristics of the enterprises associated with health tourism in Santander from the perspective of the history of Colombian entrepreneurs, supported by the degree work in a research seminar. This helped to begin the analysis of the main regional business ventures, the innovations offered to the tourism market and the transformations promoted in the services of the Colombian health sector. Based on a qualitative approach, a hermeneutic study was carried out and characterized by the content analysis of the selected readings for the development of the seminar, documentary review in books, degree papers and articles. Finally, the topic was deepened through visits and interviews made to the International Hospital of Colombia and the international clinic FOSUNAB. The study of health tourism allowed us to recognize productive trends and business diversity, the history of entrepreneurship, the main ventures associated with health tourism, as well as the specific offers of tourist destinations, products or services that characterize the clinical and hospital centers of Santander. The transformations promoted in the services of the health sector that have contributed historical dynamism to the projections of competitive growth have also been considered, based on the economic and social development that seeks to project the tourism-health competitiveness of Santander. *
