dc.description.abstract	La luminaria tipo LED en la actualidad está reemplazando a la iluminación tradicional debido a que esta cuenta con un menor consumo de potencia el cual permite a los usuarios un ahorro considerable de energía eléctrica, en el edificio Biblioteca Central de la Universidad Industrial de Santander cuenta con tecnología de iluminación fluorescente, tecnología inferior en diferentes aspectos a la novedosa tecnología LED. Se plantea entonces, realizar el diseño de iluminación para la actualización de luminarias, mediante el software DIALux evo, implementando dicha tecnología, realizando la comparativa de tres diferentes proveedores de luminarias, cumpliendo requerimientos normativos, para elegir la opción que logré de manera. satisfactoria la eficiencia deseada, atendiendo a los diferentes presupuestos que se obtuvieron a lo largo del proyecto. Proporcionado además una guía detalla de la elaboración del proyecto de iluminación.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The LED luminaire type is currently replacing traditional lighting because it has lower power consumption which allows users considerable savings in electricity, in the Central Library building of the Industrial University of Santander it has fluorescent lighting technology, inferior technology in different respects to the newer LED technology. It is then proposed to carry out the lighting design for the updating of luminaires, using the DIALux evo software, implementing said technology, making the comparison of three different luminaire suppliers, complying with regulatory requirements, to choose the option that I achieved in a way. the desired efficiency, taking into account the different budgets that were acquired throughout the project. Also provided a detailed guide for the preparation of the lighting project.
