| dc.description.abstract | El trabajo de grado realizado en modalidad práctica empresarial en la División de Servicios de Información de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, se enfocó en el desarrollo del sistema de información SOUIS 1.0 para la División de Recursos Humanos, que tiene como propósito principal contribuir al mejoramiento de la administración del programa de salud ocupacional. El Sistema de Información SOUIS 1.0 que ha sido desarrollado, pretende brindar a la División de Recursos Humanos y al personal directivo y empleados de la Universidad, información que les permita conocer los factores de riesgos a los que están expuestos y los accidentes de trabajo que se puedan presentar, con el fin de aportar a una política preventiva en el área de Salud Ocupacional y así garantizar el bienestar y la salud de todos. Además de organizar y controlar los siguientes procesos: Panorama General de Factores de Riesgo. Accidentes de Trabajo. Ausentismo. El proyecto fue desarrollado bajo la metodología del Proceso Unificado de Desarrollo de Software, la cual permitió llevar a cabo de una manera clara el análisis, diseño, elaboración y construcción del mismo. El Lenguaje Unificado de Modelado (UML) se utilizó como herramienta de documentación para las actividades descritas por la metodología. | dc.description.abstractenglish | The present graduation project, formally conducted as an internship practice at the Department of Information Systems of the UIS, focused on the development of the SOUIS 1.0 Information System. Such system was built for the HR Department in order to aid and improve the managerial process of its occupational-health program. The SOUIS 1.0 information system is set to provide the HR Department, the board of directors and other staff personnel with the information that can be used to assess risk factors at their work place. Such information also allows creating a preventive occupational-health policy that guarantees everyone's health and well-being. Finally, the system also helps to manage the following processes: - General view of risk factors - Work accidents - Absenteeism The Information system was developed under the unified-development process which allowed the creators to carry out its analysis, design, coding and deployment in a clear, orderly and time-saving manner. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) was used as a documentation tool for the activities described within the methodology. The SOUIS 1.0 system was developed to function under a college-campus intranet environment. It was programmed using Java, Sava Server Pages (JSP), JavaScript, and Hyper-Text Mark-up Language (HTML). | |
