dc.description.abstract	En la realización de la práctica como asistente en el Grupo de Investigación en Materiales y Estructuras de Construcción (INME) de la Escuela de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Industrial de Santander-UIS; se distribuyó en tres partes principalmente. En primera instancia se hizo participe en la revisión y actualización de la información en los CVLAC y GRUPLAC de los respectivos profesores integrantes del grupo de investigación en la plataforma ScienTi, para la respectiva participación en la Convocatoria Nacional para el Reconocimiento y Medición de Grupos de Investigación realizada por Colciencias, en el cual busca reconocer las habilidades y fortalezas como grupo de investigación e Investigadores. La otra actividad a desarrollar fue la de procesos administrativos para la linea de gestión. En esta etapa de la práctica consistió en la realización de las solicitudes a la Vicerrectoría de Investigación y Extensión (VIE) del programa semilla, requerido en la línea de investigación para el proceso de compra de equipos de cómputo, software y libros y demás documentos requeridos según el caso. También se realizó apoyo en la realización de la primera parte del informe de desempeño académico en las áreas de matemáticas y física de las pruebas EXIM, realizadas por la Asociación Colombiana de Facultades de Ingeniería-ACOFI. Informe realizado para la escuela de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, que busca proponer nuevas estrategias para el mejoramiento del rendimiento académico en la escuela; el cual consistió en la búsqueda de información como definiciones, referencias, edición de datos, organizar el cuerpo del informe.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The development of the work as an assistant in the Materials and Building Structures Investigation Group (INME, acronym in Spanish) of the Civil Engineering School of the Industrial University of Santander (UIS, acronym in Spanish), was divided in three main parts. In the first part, it were devolved in the team the revision and actualization of the CVLAC and GRUPLAC of the professors of the investigation group in the ScienTi platform, this for the participation of the group in the National Convocation for the Recognition and Measurement of Investigation Groups, by Colciencias; which objective is to recognize the skills and strengths as investigation group and for the investigators. The other activity developed was related to administrative processes for the management line of the group. In this stage, the work consisted in the realization of the applications of the seed program, for the Investigation and Extension Vicerrectory (VIE, acronym in Spanish). It was required for the buying process of computing devices, software, books, and other stuff required in each case. It was also supported the realization of the first part of the Academic Performance Inform, in the fields of Mathematics and Physics of the EXIM tests, developed by the Colombian Association of Engineering Schools (ACOFI, acronym in Spanish), which seeks to propose new strategies for the improvement of the academic performance inside the School. The support consisted in information searching as definitions, references, data editing, and inform organization.
