dc.description.abstract	En la presente investigación se buscó describir el significado que tiene el proceso investigativo que se ha venido desarrollando en una institución privada de básica y media, las concepciones sobre investigación, el sentir de la comunidad educativa frente al ejercicio investigativo y el señalamiento de los logros y desafíos. El enfoque metodológico se sustentó en el paradigma cualitativo desde la etnografía; se utilizo como técnicas de recolección de información el cuestionario, el análisis documental, la entrevista y la observación participante, las cuales permitieron hacer una recuperación de los significados, experiencias, sentimientos y motivaciones predominantes en el abordaje de la situación objeto de estudio. Los resultados muestran la trayectoria de la investigación a partir del proceso de crecimiento y apoyo que conduce a una necesidad de investigar en la actualidad, desde tres momentos: el inicial obedece a la elaboración y gestión de los primeros proyectos, el segundo momento al apoyo gubernamental y tercero a la necesidad de asumir la investigación como una exigencia de la actualidad; las concepciones sobre la investigación: quehacer práctico, quehacer institucional y quehacer vinculado a problemas del entorno, señalan la investigación como una materia amplia, sensibilizadora que lleva a la investigación formativa; el sentir sobre la experiencia, abordado desde la satisfacción, confianza, expectativa, duda que propicia calidad académica y los avances, vacíos, necesidades bajo la premisa de Apropiación de conceptos y procesos que llevan a explorar nuevos conocimientos e impiden el adormecimiento intelectual.
dc.description.abstractenglish	In this investigation is looked for to describe the meaning that the investigative process has and which has come developing in the institution, the conceptions about the investigation and the feeling of the educative community front the investigative exercise and the signaling of the aims and the challenges. The methodological approach was supported in the qualitative paradigm from the ethnography; it was used like collection techniques of information in questionnaire, the documental analysis, the interview and the participant observation which let to do a recovery of the meanings, experiences, feelings and predominant motivations in the the investigative approach to exercise in a private institution of basic and medium level. The results show the trajectory of the investigation from the growth process and the help which leads to a necessity of investigating nowadays, from 3 times: the initial obeys to the making and management of the first projects, the second one was for the governmental help and the last one was for the necessity of assuming the investigation like a requirement of the present; the conceptions about the investigation : practice task, institutional task, and task linked to the environment problems , point out the investigation like a wide subject, sensitizing which takes to the formative investigation ; the feeling about the experience, approached from the satisfaction, confidence, expectative, doubt which increases the academic quality and the advances, empties, necessities under the appropriation premises of concepts and processes which take to explore new which prevent the intellectual numbness. 3
