El trabajo de Maurice Merleau-Ponty puede caracterizarse como la tarea de un filósofo que se pregunta de manera insistente por la percepción y por el encarnamiento del ser en el mundo. Es difícil identificar hasta qué punto perder la capacidad general de la percepción hace difícil la recepción del mundo, pero es cierto que nadie queda por fuera, y que hay una fuerza de resiliencia que permite proseguir en actividad, aproximarse a las cosas, conservar una versión positiva de sí mismo. El presente ensayo indaga, siguiendo a Merleau-Ponty, aquella razón que hay para arrojarse a lo otro y a las cosas del mundo.
The work of Maurice Merleau-Ponty can be characterized as the work of a philosopher who is constantly asking himself about the perception and the embodiment of being in the world. It is very hard to describe to what extent the loss of perception makes it difficult to relate to the world. But it is true that nobody is ruled out, and that resilience is a strength that allows continued activity. An approach to things and preserves a positive version of one’s self. This essay investigates, following Merleau-Ponty, the reason within to throw oneself to the other and to the world.
