Los cien años del nacimiento de quien fuera hijo de un sacerdote ortodoxo y un ama de casa, se acaban de conmemorar en el mundo intelectual en medio de una discreción que la hubiera agradecido el controvertido pensador y escritor, en caso de que estuviera vivo, pues fue suyo el empeño con que defendió el derecho a la privacidad y al ocio
On April 8, 1911, the philosopher Emil Michel Cioran was born in Rasinari, a village at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains. The one hundred years of the birth of who was the son of an Orthodox priest and a housewife, have just been commemorated in the intellectual world in the midst of a discretion that would have been appreciated by the controversial thinker and writer, in case he was alive, because it was his commitment with which he defended the right to privacy and leisure.
