Este ensayo expone la experiencia de trabajo de campo antropológico en la comunidad indígena zapoteca de Santa Ana del Valle, Oaxaca, México; a partir de un taller de video comunitario. Reflexiona en torno al uso de metodologías audiovisuales y colaborativas en el contexto de la investigación antropológica y etnográfica con perspectiva de género feminista. Realiza un primer acercamiento a los cruces teórico-metodológicos entre la antropología feminista y la antropología audiovisual para abordar la complejidad de experiencias y subjetividades en la construcción identitaria de ser mujer zapoteca.
Da cuenta de cómo el video comunitario se erige en metodología que ofrece otros modos de conocer y aprender, provoca historias, estéticas y narrativas propias; además de reconocerse como espacio para compartir reflexiones, experiencias, sentimientos y emociones en donde el medio son la imagen y voz propias.
This essay presents the anthropological fieldwork experience of a community video workshop in the Zapotec indigenous community of Santa Ana del Valle, Oaxaca, Mexico. The paper reflects on the use of collaborative and audiovisual methodologies within the context of anthropological and ethnographical research from a feminist gender perspective. Beginning with an approach to theoretical-methodological intersections between both feminist and audiovisual anthropology, the paper addresses the complexity of the experiences and subjectivities that take part in the identity building of Zapotec women.
