Abstract
Description
SUMMARYThe purpose of this research was to develop a pedagogical proposal since the technologies Information and Communication (TIC), to favour the significant learning in the Projects Evaluation subject, in the classroom learning activities and independent work of the students of eighth semester of Environmental Engineering of the Pontificia Bolivariana University, Bucaramanga. Design was almost experimental with a group control; the independent variable was the pedagogical strategy: solution of problems applied in the TIC; the dependent variables, the significant learning of concepts and the independent work of the student. Observations on the use of the TIC and the motivation were performed before and after intervening; the data were analyzed by means of the statistical test t. In the experimental group were found significant differences, the hypothesis of the equality of knowledge was rejected. The work out of class was carried out by the students, in touch with their classmates in their specific groups or with the company of the teacher. It is concluded that the strategy contributes to the interaction among participants in a 65%, in the group control was of a 20%; greater levels of motivation were found in the experimental group, which favours the environment for the significant learning. Keywords: Significant learning, independent work, engineering, solution of problems.
