El objetivo de este artículo es dar voz a los estudiantes de la facultad de Magisterio sobre las demandas formativas que la sociedad les reclama. Se presentan algunos de los resultados de una investigación cualitativa titulada “Dar voz a los sin voz”. Resultados que desvelan los escenarios formativos presentes y futuros del alumnado universitario de Magisterio. Se demostró que las demandas formativas son numerosas y, sobre todo, se afianzó que el reto está en formar a docentes españoles e iberoamericanos comprometidos con la escuela del futuro y que, especialmente, sepan aprovechar todas las ocasiones que tienen a su alcance para apostar por la innovación, el mejoramiento y la transformación de la institución escolar.Palabras clave: estudiantes, demanda educativa, enseñanza universitaria, formación de profesores
The aim of this article is to give voice to students of the Faculty of Education on the training demands that society requires from them. Some of the results of a qualitative study entitled “Giving voice to the voiceless” are presented. Results reveal the present and future training scenarios for preservice teachers. The study establishes that training demands are numerous and discusses the challenge of training Spanish and Latin American pre-service teachers committed to help attain the school of the future ideal, especially in developing their will to seize every opportunity they have at their disposal to bet on innovation, improvement and transformation of the school learning environment.
