Síntesis El trabajo aborda el fenómeno del crecimiento económico a través de diferentes corrientes y escuelas del pensamiento económico. Intenta, igualmente, mostrar cómo la política económica de reciente configuración en nuestro país ha estado delimitada por el enfoque neoclásico en su versión más moderna. Muestra, de otra parte, las contradicciones de dicho enfoque en la praxis diaria de la política económica y sus efectos colaterales en economías con bajo crecimiento económico como la nuestra.
SummaryThis work seeks to present an argumentational approach of the implications so much of the formulation of stabilization policies as of their scopes in the context of the crisis and restructuring of the economy, the state and the civil society. In this purpose it identifies the development trends of the policies, their rationality and the effects on the principal variables it seeks to affect. The principle starts considering the highly conflicting stage in which they are unfolded, associated with the impact that the society is generating.
