RESUMENEl objeto de esta intervención es la de establecer, desde la perspectiva de la semiótica, la relación entre cuerpo y significación. La semiótica, desde una perspectiva fenomenológica, ha profundizado en investigaciones interdisciplinarias para comprender cómo la significación comienza en la experiencia corporal, pero no se reduce a ésta. Si la semiótica se ocupa de la significación de complejos sígnicos, ella debe ocuparse del cuerpo como sustrato de la enunciación y cuando constata que un discurso o una práctica cultural predica de acciones, de afectos y de saberes. En esta relación originaria se construye no sólo lo que se dice, sino también los medios con los que se predica, como en el caso de la danza, la música, las metáforas literarias, los gestos cotidianos, por ejemplo. Este trabajo ha sido desarrollado por el autor en el seno de la Maestría en Semiótica, de la Escuela de Idiomas de la Universidad Industrial de Santander.Palabras clave: cuerpo, significación, semiótica, discurso, enunciación.
ABSTRACTThe aim of this intervention is to establish, from the view of semiotics, the relationship between body and signification. Semiotics, from a phenomenological approach, has deepened into inter-disciplinary studies to understand how signification starts in bodily experience, but is not reduced to it. If semiotics takes care of signification of signic complexes, it must then take care of the body as the substrate of enunciation, and when it verifies that a discourse or a cultural practice states actions, affections and knowledge. Not only what is stated, but also the means with which it is stated are constructed in this original relationship, as is the case, for instance, of dance, music, literary metaphors, and everyday gestures. This work has been carried out by the author within the Masters in Semiotics of the School of Languages at Universidad Industrial de Santander.
