The pemphigus is treated with corticoids and azathioprine but in recent years new drugs were included as immunoglobulins, Rituximab (Chimeric monoclonal anti-CD20), among others. We show a case of atypical hyperpigmented pemphigus appearance and the review of issue, especially on treatment. Salud UIS 2012; 44 (3): 49-55Keywords: pemphigus, acantholysis, autoimmunity
