dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de grado desglosa las características de la novela Puerto Silencio de Fernando Soto Aparicio con el objetivo de asentar la obra como una novela de transición entre el boom latinoamericano y el posboom. Para lograrlo, fue necesario fundamentarse en la propuesta isotópica de Greimas y Courtés (1980) para hallar las temáticas y formas de expresión más comunes del autor colombiano, asimismo, la teoría arquetípica de Jung (2010) para explorar los diversos ángulos femeninos de los personajes presentes en la novela. También se consultaron a Shaw (1999) y Blaustein (2009) que destacan los rasgos más relevantes de los dos paradigmas literarios de la segunda mitad del siglo XX. Se concluye que Puerto Silencio posee características tanto del boom como del posboom, resultando como una obra innovadora en el repertorio narrativo de Soto Apa-ricio y que sirve como modelo para observar los cambios literarios de la época.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present work breaks down the characteristics of the novel Puerto Silencio by Fernando Soto Aparicio with the aim of establishing the work as a transitional novel between the Latin American boom and the post-boom. To achieve this, it was necessary to rely on the isotopic proposal of Greimas and Courtés (1980) to find the most common themes and forms of expression of the Colombian author, as well as the archetypal theory of Jung (2010) to explore the various female angels of the characters present in the novel. Shaw (1999) and Blaustein (2009) were also consulted to highlight the most relevant features of the two literary paradigms of the second half of the twentieth century. It is concluded that Puerto Silencio possesses characteristics of both the boom and the post-boom, resulting as an innovative work in Soto Aparicio's narrative repertoire and serving as a model to observe the literary changes of the time.
