dc.description.abstractEn el primer trimestre del año 2020 se declaró la emergencia sanitaria a nivel mundial a causa de la propagación del virus SARS-COV-2 (COVID -19), causando la muerte de millones de personas alrededor del mundo, lo que obligó adoptar medidas estrictas como el confinamiento y el cierre masivo de comercio para evitar su propagación El siguiente trabajo de grado tiene como objetivo analizar el impacto del COVID-19 en el sector avícola en Colombia y en el mundo, examinando el comportamiento del mercado y las consecuencias económicas, sociales y operativas en las empresas y el sector durante este periodo y después del mismo. A través de una revisión de literatura centrándose en el análisis bibliométrico y el análisis preliminar de los efectos y las medidas del sector para afrontar los retos impuesto por la pandemia. También por medio de la construcción de dos casos de estudiose busca estudiar el impacto de la pandemia de las empresas Distraves SAS y Avisander SAS mediante la recolección de datos, como entrevistas y la información financiera de las compañías. En esta investigación se busca proporcionar una visión general del impacto del COVID-19 en el sector avícola, destacando los cambios y desafíos que enfrentaron el mercado y las empresas del sector durante y después de la pandemia.
