dc.description.abstractA lo largo de la historia la flauta traversa se ha caracterizado por su versatilidad sonora, y la diversidad de música que puede abarcar, es por ello por lo que en este trabajo de grado estudiamos la interpretación del jazz latino en la de la flauta, con el fin de incluir el estudio formal de la flauta traversa. Para ello tomamos como referencia el legado musical del maestro cubano Paquito D’Rivera con cuatro temas de su autoría y, uno dedicado a él, donde evidenciamos las ventajas técnicas, interpretativas y la versatilidad tanto de la flauta como de su intérprete, dando un pequeño recorrido por algunos aires musicales característicos de Latinoamérica, sin dejar a un lado el contenido jazzístico que en ellos se encuentra. Al realizar el montaje de un recital solista con repertorio latino se deben abordar diversos aspectos técnicos e interpretativos característicos de este repertorio que permitan tener una puesta en escena exitosa. Con este proyecto concluimos que al abordar repertorio latino se enriquece aún más la formación de los flautistas, facilitando recursos que permitan a los instrumentistas conocer, desarrollar y fortalecer aspectos técnicos e interpretativos del instrumento que permitan tener un mejor desempeño como músicos profesionales y latinos en un contexto musical tan diverso.
dc.description.abstractenglishThroughout history the traversa flute has been characterized by its sound versatility, and the diversity of music it can encompass, which is why in this degree work we study the interpretation of Latin jazz in that of the flute, in order to include it in the formal study of the flute traversa. For this we take as reference the musical legacy of the Cuban master Paquito D'Rivera with five themes where we show the technical advantages, interpretative and versatility of both the flute and its interpreter, giving a small tour through some musical airs characteristic of Latin America, without leaving aside the jazz content that is in them. When performing the assembly of a solo recital with Latin repertoire must address various technical and interpretive aspects characteristic of this repertoire that allow a successful staging. With this project we conclude that addressing Latin repertoire further enriches the formation of flutists, providing resources that allow players to know, develop and strengthen technical and interpretive aspects of the instrument that allow to have a better performance as professional musicians and Latinos in such a diverse musical context.
