dc.description.abstractAl encontrarnos en uno de los puntos con mayor sismicidad en Colombia como loes Bucaramanga, es de importancia evaluar la estabilidad y los posiblesdesplazamientos que puede presentar un talud ante los movimientos sísmicos.Por esta razón es necesario contar con herramientas adecuadas que permitanevaluar su estabilidad y en caso critico la magnitud del desplazamiento del taludque se llegara a presentar. Este análisis se lleva a cabo con métodos y programas especializados. ElSoftware Slope/W ya muy conocido y utilizado para hallar la estabilidad de lasladeras; en tanto que el software del método de Newmark se utilizara como nuevorecurso para hallar los desplazamientos de la ladera al momento de deslizarse. Elsoftware fue implementado por Southern California Earthquake Center (SCEC).Este contiene un amplio registro de los mayores sismos que se han presentadoen la historia
dc.description.abstractenglishWhen finding us in one of the points with greater seismicity in Colombia likeit is Bucaramanga, it is important to evaluate the stability and the possibledisplacements that can present/display a slope in before a seismicmovements. Therefore it is necessary to cant have suitable tools that allowus to evaluate the slope stability and in a critic case of the magnitude of thedisplacement that was could present. This analysis is carried out with methods and specialized programs.Software Slope/W already very well-known and used to find the stability ofslopes; meanwhile the software of the method of Newmark were used like anew resource to find the displacements of the slope at the time of sliding.
