dc.description.abstractEsta investigación tiene como propósito analizar la utilización del lenguaje como eje de identidad en los estudiantes que realizaron un intercambio académico durante el periodo 2022-2023 en la Universidad de Lille, en Francia. Metodológicamente, se recurrió al análisis de entrevistas realizadas a diez estudiantes mediante un muestreo no probabilístico en cadena. Asimismo, la investigación tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, pues se consideró la importancia de las vivencias de los sujetos como información analizada a través de diversas fuentes. Una de las fuentes para el análisis de la identidad se tomó como referente al teórico y lingüista Charaudeau (2009) y se establecieron tres categorías, de las cuales se establecieron la relación de las distintas identidades (social, discursiva y cultural) a través de las interacciones sociales intersubjetivas entre los entrevistados y la comunidad francesa partícipe. Los resultados revelaron que una de las mayores dificultades es que los estudiantes extranjeros tienden a reproducir en el nuevo entorno las identidades sociales y discursivas que establecieron en su entorno habitual. Finalmente, este proyecto busca aportar en los estudios de aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera ante la experiencia de la inmersión lingüística y cultural.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe purpose of this research is to analyze the use of language as an axis of identity in students who carried out an academic exchange during the period 2022-2023 at the University of Lille, in France. Methodologically, the analysis of interviews carried out with ten students was used through a non-probabilistic chain sampling. Likewise, the research had a quantitative approach since the importance of the experiences of the subjects was considered as information analyzed through various sources. One of the sources for the analysis of identity was taken as a reference to the theoretician and linguist Charaudeau (2009) and three categories were established, of which the relationship of the different identities (social, discursive, and cultural) was established through the intersubjective social interactions between the interviewees and the participating French community. The results revealed that one of the biggest difficulties is that foreign students tend to reproduce in the new environment the social and discursive identities that they established in their usual environment. Finally, this project seeks to contribute to the studies of learning a foreign language before the experience of linguistic and cultural immersion.
