dc.description.abstractObservando la importancia de los bosques alrededor del mundo, respectó a la capacidad de almacenamiento de carbono atmosférico, se han llevado a cabo diferentes estudios para medir esta cantidad de carbono almacenado en las zonas boscosas. Los esfuerzos por recuperar el bosque Alto Andino en la zona norte de Boyacá, Municipio de Panqueba, han permitido reconocer áreas boscosas como reservas forestales. No obstante, dichas reservas no cuentan con un inventario que ayude a conocer su potencial y en vista de la alta fragmentación que presenta dicha reserva forestal por los diferentes cultivos que se llevaban a cabo por los antepasados de la zona a su vez siendo un bosque con una alfa biodiversidad baja debido a esto. En consecuencia a esto, se lleva a cabo el cálculo de Índice de Valor e Importancia, índice de Biodiversidad, e Índice de Valor Importancia Ampliado, en donde se observa que la especie representativas es, Lippia Hirsuta con un 92.3% de IVI. Con esto se calcula la biomasa de las especies basadas en Fórmulas Alometricas desarrolladas según la zona de vida de holdridge teniendo un resultado para la especie Lippia Hirsuta de 1113,3 kg/ha siendo esta la especie con mayor cantidad de carbono almacenado de la reserva forestal Panteones en la vereda Franco Panqueba (Boyacá).
dc.description.abstractenglishObserving the importance of forests around the world, regarding the storage capacity of atmospheric carbon, different studies have been carried out to measure this amount of carbon stored in forested areas. The efforts to recover the Alto Andino forest in the northern area of Boyacá, Municipality of Panqueba, have allowed the recognition of forested areas as forest reserves. However, these reserves do not have an inventory that helps to know their potential and in view of the high fragmentation that this forest reserve presents for the different crops that were carried out by the ancestors of the area in turn being a forest with a low biodiversity alpha due to this. Consequently, the calculation of the Value and Importance Index, the Biodiversity Index, and the Extended Importance Value Index are carried out, where it is observed that the representative species is Lippia Hirsuta with 92.3% of IVI. This calculates the biomass of the species based on Allometric formulas developed according to the holdridge life zone, with a result for the Lippia Hirsuta species of 1113.3 kg / ha being the species with the highest amount of carbon stored in the forest reserve. Panteones in the village of Franco Panqueba (Boyacá).
