dc.description.abstractEl siguiente artículo es un breve análisis y reflexión sobre las características archivísticas y los valores como fuente para la historia de Bucaramanga del Subfondo Planos del Área Metropolitana de Bucaramanga, ubicado en el Archivo Central de dicha entidad. Se ahondan elementos tales como las particularidades del soporte y la consulta, y la conformación física del Subfondo. Por otra parte, se hace plantean las principales características y ventajas de éste tipo de documentación como fuente para la investigación histórica en el contexto de la ciudad de Bucaramanga y Área Metropolitana. Además, se pretende dilucidar en una amplia forma el proceso de organización archivística de dicho subfondo, profundizando en asuntos como la metodología usada, los aportes de un nuevo conocimiento en materia documental, las características de los planos en cuanto a sus aspectos archivísticos como informativos y de soporte, las dificultades, el contexto laboral o el entorno de trabajo donde se desarrolló dicho proceso. Se espera de éste proyecto realizado que logre acercar más el interés de los estudiantes e investigadores sobre ésta riquísima e invaluable fuente y patrimonio para la historia de Bucaramanga y su Área Metropolitana. Por último, cabe exaltar el apoyo del AMB como el de la UIS
dc.description.abstractenglishThe following article is a brief analysis and reflection on the archival characteristics and values as a source for the Bucaramanga history of the Plans of the Metropolitan Area of Bucaramanga, located in the Central Archive of that entity. Elements such as the particulars of the support and consultation, and the physical composition of the Sub-Fund are deepened. On the other hand, the main characteristics and advantages of this type of documentation are presented as a source for historical research in the context of the city of Bucaramanga and Metropolitan Area. In addition, it is intended to elucidate in a wide way the process of archival organization of said sub-fund, deepening in matters such as the methodology used, the contributions of a new knowledge in documentary matter, the characteristics of the plans in terms of their archival aspects as informative and Support, the difficulties, the work context or the working environment where the process was developed. This project is expected to bring closer the interest of students and researchers on this rich and invaluable source and heritage for the history of Bucaramanga and its Metropolitan Area.
