dc.description.abstractLos recursos que ofrece la biodiversidad en el país no solamente se encuentran en las regiones geográficas tradicionalmente ricas, sino que a medida que avanza la investigación en materia de inventarios biológicos, se encuentra que nuevas áreas aparentemente pobres en términos de biodiversidad ricas en plantas y animales no imaginables. Organizaciones como Wildlife Conservation Society, Birdlife International y Proaves Colombia, consideran al Cañón del Chicamocha como un ecosistema rico y diverso en aves endémicas y amenazadas, además de llamar la atención entre los biólogos y conservacionistas de Colombia y el exterior sobre la necesidad de conservar este importante recurso. El presente proyecto pretende aprovechar la biodiversidad del Cañón del río Chicamocha y los conocimientos tradicionales de sus pobladores, a través de un proyecto ecoturístico que brinde opciones laborales para los jóvenes residentes en esta zona. Para conocer las reales posibilidades del proyecto desde el punto de vista comercial, técnico, administrativo y económico, fue necesario llevar a cabo un estudio de factibilidad, que permite afirmar que el proyecto es viable y su implementación es posible, siempre que se consideren todos los aspectos aquí mencionados y se tenga en cuenta el contexto socioeconómico tan particular de la zona de estudio. El proyecto plantea la creación de una Cooperativa de Trabajo Asociado como figura jurídica para la constitución legal de la empresa conformada por jóvenes de la región. Por otra parte, en cuanto a la evaluación financiera; éste presenta una inversión total de $94.034.059, alcanzando una Tasa Interna de Retorno del 30,45%, el período de recuperación de la inversión es positivo, el proyecto tiene la capacidad de recuperar la inversión antes de terminar el quinto año y un valor presente neto de $105.546.117.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe resources that he/she offers the biodiversity in the country are not only in the traditionally rich geographical regions, but rather as the investigation advances as regards biological inventories, it is found that new seemingly poor areas in rich biodiversity terms in plants and non imaginable animals. Organizations like Wildlife Conservation Society, Birdlife International and Proves Colombia, they consider to the Canyon of the Chicamocha like a rich and diverse ecosystem in endemic and threatened birds, besides getting the attention among the biologists and conservationist of Colombia and the exterior about the necessity of conserving this important resource. The present project seeks to take advantage of the biodiversity of the Canyon of the river Chicamocha and the traditional knowledge of its residents, through a project ecoturístico that offers labour options for the resident youths in this area. To know the real possibilities of the project from the commercial point of view, technician, administrative and economic, went necessary to carry out a study of feasibility that allows to affirm that the project is viable and its implementation is possible, whenever they are considered all the aspects here mentioned and one keeps in mind the socioeconomic context so peculiar of the study area. The project outlines the creation of a Cooperative working Associate as artificial figure for the legal constitution of the company conformed for young of the region. On the other hand, as for the financial evaluation; this presents a total investment of $94.034.059, reaching an Internal Rate of Return of 30,45%, the period of recovery of the investment is positive, the project has the capacity to recover the investment before finishing the fifth year and a net present value of $105.546.117.
