dc.description.abstractLa Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), ha venido consolidando políticas para el manejo de sus recursos de inversión y proporcionando elementos a través del Banco de Programas y Proyectos de Inversión, fomentando una cultura de trabajo más estructurada y orientada a proyectos. Este trabajo de grado fue desarrollado en conjunto con la División de Servicios de Información, unidad encargada de administrar y desarrollar el software que soporta el funcionamiento de la UIS, y la Oficina de Planeación de la Universidad Industrial de Santander encargada de coordinar y supervisar la formulación, ejecución, seguimiento y control de los proyectos que se enmarcan dentro del plan de desarrollo institucional. La cantidad de información manejada en el Banco de Programas y Proyectos de inversión, hace necesaria la elaboración de un sistema de información moderno que agilice los procesos. En la gestión de proyectos el manejo del recurso humano, el proceso de compras y adquisiciones, juegan un papel importante para alcanzar los objetivos propuestos en un proyecto, razón que motivó el desarrollo de este software como soporte a estos procesos. En la gestión del recurso humano la nueva herramienta sistematiza los procesos del manejo de personal asociado al proyecto, ya que está debidamente integrado con el sistema de Recursos Humanos de la Universidad Industrial de Santander
dc.description.abstractenglishThe Industrial University of Santander (UIS) has been consolidating policies for the management of their investment resources and providing elements through the Bank of Programs and Investment Projects, promoting a work culture more structured and projects-oriented. This work was developed jointly with the Information Services Division, a unit responsible for managing and developing the software that supports the operation of UIS, and the Office of Planning of the Industrial University of Santander who coordinates and supervises the formulation, execution, monitoring and control of the projects that fall within the institutional development plan. The amount of information handled in the bank of programs and investment projects, requires the elaboration of a modern information system that speeds up the processes. In the project management, the human resource management and the process of purchase and adquisition, have an important role in achieving the objectives in a project, making it the reason behind the development of this software to support these processes. In the human resource management, the new tool systematize the process of personnel management associated to the project, because it is properly integrated with the system of Human Resources in the Industrial University of Santander.
