dc.description.abstractEl presente documento describe de forma general el diseño y la implementación de un sistema de costos basado en actividades (ABC) desarrollado para la empresa Alimentos Integrales Viva Mejor. El informe muestra cada una de las etapas que se abordaron en la construcción de dicho sistema y cómo se logró la generación de una herramienta analítica útil para la toma de decisiones por parte de la gerencia. La primera parte abarca la descripción general del contexto de la organización. En ella se incluye el diagnóstico inicial del proceso productivo para la posterior asignación de los costos más importantes, especialmente los CIF. Seguidamente se da a conocer la base teórica que se utilizó para la formulación del sistema y se muestra el paso a paso de la metodología tenida en cuenta para la implementación. En la parte central del documento fueron definidos los centros de costo, así como las actividades claves del proceso y los inductores. Estos últimos permitieron que los costos indirectos se midieran de forma correcta y se asignaran proporcionalmente a los consumos generados en los procesos. Finalmente, se presentan la implementación del sistema y la creación de la herramienta ofimática, con la que se logró calcular los costos finales por unidad de los productos más importantes de Alimentos Viva Mejor permitiéndole a la organización tener una base sólida para la toma de decisiones gerenciales
dc.description.abstractenglishThis document describes the general form of design and implementation of an activitybased costing system (ABC) developed for the company Alimentos Integrales Viva Mejor. The report shows each of the stages that were addressed in the construction of the said system and how the generation of a useful analytical tool for decisionmaking by management was achieved. The first part covers the general description of the context of the organization. It includes the initial diagnosis of the production process for the subsequent allocation of the most important costs, especially the CIF. Next, the theoretical basis used for the formulation of the system is presented and the stepbystep methodology of the methodology taken into account for the implementation is shown. In the central part of the document, the cost centers were defined, as well as the key activities of the process and the drivers. The latter allowed indirect costs to be measured correctly and allocated proportionally to the consumption generated in the processes. Finally, the implementation of the system and the creation of the office automation tool are presented, with which it was possible to calculate the final costs per unit of the most important products of Alimentos Viva Mejor, allowing the organization to have a solid basis for making managerial decisions
