dc.description.abstractEl estudio que se llevó a cabo indaga acerca de la percepción en la formación investigativa en el pregrado de Trabajo Social, cuyo objetivo central se orientó a comprender la percepción de los estudiantes y profesores de Trabajo Social de la Universidad Industrial de Santander – UIS, frente a la formación en investigación social que la profesión-disciplina ofrece a los estudiantes. Se planteó la realización del estudio desde el paradigma cualitativo (método fenomenológico) y teóricamente se sustenta en los conceptos de formación de Hans-Georg Gadamer (filósofo alemán) y la fenomenología de la percepción de Maurice Merleau-Ponty (filósofo francés). Con la metodología fenomenológica se pretendió acercarse al fenómeno de estudio desde su esencia, lo cual es verbalizado por los participantes a través de entrevistas, de lo cual, es posible hacer la narración de sus experiencias en cuanto a la formación en investigación. Dicho de otro modo, con los hallazgos, se apunta a describir las estructuras experienciales percibidas y aportar al debate con respecto al lugar que debe ocupar el Trabajo Social en las ciencias sociales que por el momento se le concibe como profesión-disciplina.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe study that was carried out inquiries about the perception in the research training in the Social Work undergraduate, whose central objective was oriented to understand the perception of the students and professors of Social Work of the Industrial University of Santander - UIS, compared to the training in social research that the profession-discipline offers students. The study was carried out from the qualitative paradigm (phenomenological method) and theoretically it is based on the training concepts of Hans-Georg Gadamer (German philosopher) and the phenomenology of perception of Maurice Merleau-Ponty (French philosopher). With the phenomenological methodology, it was intended to approach the study phenomenon from its essence, which is verbalized by the participants through interviews, from which it is possible to narrate their experiences in terms of research training. In other words, with the findings, it aims to describe the perceived experiential structures and contribute to the debate regarding the place that Social Work should occupy in the social sciences that for the moment is conceived as a profession-discipline.
