dc.description.abstractLa corporación autónoma regional de la frontera nororiental CORPONOR con jurisdicción en el departamento de Norte de Santander, en el desarrollo de sus actividades cuenta con la subdirección de desarrollo sectorial sostenible, que tiene a su cargo la oficina de control y vigilancia ambiental que es la encargada de la prevención del aprovechamiento ilegal y los daños generados por estas actividades a los recursos naturales, también la coordinación con las demás entidades del SINA recursos naturales, En el desarrollo de la práctica se ejecutaron diferentes actividades las cuales corresponden al peritaje de la madera y carbón vegetal, producto de los decomisos adelantados por funcionarios de la Policía Nacional, visitas de inspección por presunta afectación al recurso flora, operativos de control al tráfico y comercialización ilegal en los depósitos de madera; con la finalidad de mitigar los impactos ambientales que genera el aprovechamiento ilegal de los recursos naturales, ya que no se tienen en cuenta los parámetros establecidos para que exista un aprovechamiento sostenible.
