dc.description.abstractLa Empresa Municipal de Tibasosa E.S.P es la encargada de suministrar el agua potable a la población urbana y a un sector rural del municipio de Tibasosa (Boyacá), como objetivo misional la empresa presta los servicios de acueducto, alcantarillado y aseo de manera óptima a todos sus usuarios cumpliendo con todo lo establecido por la normativa vigente. Sin embrago, se observó que la prestación del servicio se ve afectada cuando los parámetros del agua cruda varían demasiado generando dificultades técnicas en el desarrollo del tratamiento e intermitencia en la prestación del servicio. En este trabajo se diseñó una herramienta digital la cual sintetiza los datos de operación recolectados en las plantas de tratamiento presentándolos de forma dinámica. Para este fin, se diagnosticó el estado actual del tratamiento partiendo de la información recolectada en las visitas y el muestreo realizado en las PTAP La Capilla y La Boyera, seguidamente se evaluó el efecto que tienen los parámetros del agua cruda determinando la eficiencia parcial y global del tratamiento; y por último se procedió a realizar el prototipo en un programa de fácil manejo y su posterior implementación en busca de oportunidades de mejora para la compañía. Como resultado, la herramienta facilita el dar seguimiento a la calidad del agua potable además de realizar el balance hídrico en cada planta. Es por esto, que favorece el poder tomar decisiones a la hora de disminuir el efecto que tiene el agua cruda en el tratamiento a fin de mantener la calidad del servicio suministrada a la población.
dc.description.abstractenglishLa Empresa Municipal de Tibasosa E.S.P is in charge of supplying the drinking water to the urban population and to a rural sector of the municipality of Tibasosa (Boyacá), as a missionary objective, the company provides the services of aqueduct, sewerage and toilet in an optimal way to all its users, complying with everything established by current regulations. However, it was observed that the provision of the service is affected when the parameters of raw water vary too much, generating technical difficulties in the development of the treatment and intermittency in the provision of the service. In this work, a digital tool was designed which synthesizes the operation data collected in the treatment plants presenting them dynamically. To this end, the current state of the treatment was diagnosed based on the information collected in the visits and the sampling carried out in the PTAP La Capilla and La Boyera, then the effect of the raw water parameters was evaluated, determining the partial and overall efficiency of the treatment; and finally, the prototype was made in an easy-to-use program and its subsequent implementation in search of opportunities for improvement for the company. As a result, the tool makes it easier to monitor the quality of drinking water in addition to carrying out the water balance in each plant. That is why it favors being able to make decisions when it comes to reducing the effect that raw water has on treatment to maintain the quality of the service provided to the population.
