dc.description.abstract	Este documento presenta el diagnóstico de las capacidades de I+D+i realizado en los grupos de investigación vinculados a la Escuela de Estudios Industriales y Empresariales de la Universidad Industrial de Santander mediante el capital intelectual en sus tres dimensiones: capital humano, capital estructural y capital relacional. Para realizar la investigación, se tomó como punto de partida una revisión de la literatura que constó de un análisis bibliométrico y un análisis de la literatura consultada, en donde el principal resultado obtenido es que existen muy pocos diagnósticos desarrollados en Colombia enfocados en evaluar las capacidades de I+D+i de los grupos de investigación de las IES. Adicionalmente, los autores coinciden en que el análisis permite identificar las fortalezas, debilidades y áreas de oportunidad de mejora que tiene cada grupo de investigación en las dimensiones nombradas anteriormente. Por lo tanto; el presente diagnostico identificó estas oportunidades de mejora, a partir de las cuales se propusieron estrategias que permitirían potencializar y mejorar las capacidades de I+D+i de los grupos de investigación de la EEIE. Como resultado de este proyecto, se sugieren diversas alternativas y recomendaciones orientadas al desarrollo de dichas capacidades, facilitando la mejora continua de los grupos de investigación, así como su reconocimiento y posicionamiento en el ámbito académico y científico.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This document presents a diagnosis of the R&D&I capabilities conducted in the research groups associated with the School of Industrial and Business Studies at the Industrial University of Santander, analyzed through to three dimensions of intellectual Capital: human capital, structural capital, and relational capital. The study begins with a literature review, including bibliometric analysis and an in-depth examination of the consulted literature. The main finding reveals that very few studies in Colombia have focus on evaluating the R&D&I capabilities of research groups within Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Furthermore, the authors agree that such analysis allows for the identification of strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement for each research group in the aforementioned dimensions. Therefore, the present diagnosis identified these opportunities, based on which strategies were proposed to enhance and improve the R&D&I capabilities of the EEIE research groups. As a result of this project, various alternatives and recommendations are suggested to support the development of these capabilities, facilitating the continuous improvement of research groups, as well as their recognition, and positioning within the academic and scientific fields.
