dc.description.abstractEl recurso carbonífero es importante para el desarrollo industrial de Santander, ya que cuenta con mantos de excelente calidad. A pesar de esto, existen zonas inexploradas las cuales no cuentan con un conocimiento real acerca de la calidad, competitividad del carbón: Esto impide que se pueda determinar el verdadero potencial minero del departamento. En tal sentido, mediante la elaboración de este trabajo de grado se determina el panorama competitivo del sector del carbón en Santander, haciéndose un énfasis especial en la condiciones del carbón térmico, con el fin de contribuir a la realización del macro-proyecto SELECCIÓN DE CARBONES PARA LA APLICACIÓN DE COMBUSTIBLE CCTA EN HORNOS DE CERÁMICA DENTRO DE ESQUEMAS DE PRODUCCIÓN LIMPIA Y USO RACIONAL DE ENERGÍAfl el cual básicamente busca producir una versión mejorada del combustible CCTA que es utilizado en los hornos en donde se elaboran cerámicas. El presente estudio está enmarcado en el Enfoque Sistémico de Competitividad Regional, pues establece la estructura competitiva del sector carbonífero en Santander, por medio no sólo del mejoramiento de las condiciones en las que se desarrolla este sector, sino además identificando los factores que se encuentran débiles. Para la realización de este trabajo de grado se utilizó la metodología del IBQP, la cual se basa en la elaboración de una matriz donde se evalúa cualitativamente el comportamiento del sector estudiado, por parte de expertos en la materia. Dicha matriz contiene una serie de indicadores que se adaptan a las necesidades del sector en la región. A partir de las conclusiones a las cuales llegaron los expertos entrevistados y de la información obtenida sobre el comportamiento actual de los indicadores que componen la matriz, el cuarto capítulo se dedica a mostrar los niveles de competitividad del carbón en Santander.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe carboniferous resource is important for the industrial development of Santander, since account with mantels of excellent quality. In spite of this, unexplored areas exist which don't have a real knowledge about the quality, competitiveness of the coal: This prevents that you can determine the true mining potential of the department. In such a sense, by means of the elaboration of this grade work the competitive panorama of the sector of the coal is determined in Santander, being made a special emphasis under the conditions of the thermal coal, with the purpose of contributing to the realization of the macro-project "SELECTION OF COAL FOR THE APPLICATION OF COMBUSTIBLE CCTA IN OVENS OF CERAMIC INSIDE OF OUTLINES OF CLEAN PRODUCTION AND RATIONAL USE OF ENERGY" the one which basically search an improved version of the combustible CCTA that is used in the ovens where are elaborated to take place ceramic. The present study is framed in the Systemic Focus of Regional Competitiveness, because it establishes the competitive structure of the carboniferous sector in Santander, for half not only of the improvement of the conditions in those that this sector is developed, but also identifying the factors that are weak. For the realization of this grade work the methodology of the IBQP was used, which is based on the elaboration of a womb where it is evaluated the behavior of the studied sector qualitatively, on the part of experts in the matter. This womb contains a series of indicators that they adapt to the necessities of the sector in the region. Starting from the conclusions to which the experts interviewees arrived and of the information obtained on the current behavior of the indicators that they compose the womb, the fourth chapter it is devoted to show the levels of competitiveness of the coal in Santander.
