dc.description.abstractLa libertad es un concepto polémico en la historia de la filosofía por su relación con el determinismo y el vínculo religioso con libre arbitrio. En el siglo XX el escritor francés Albert Camus hizo de la libertad la idea central de su pensamiento existencialista. Tomando por base la idea de que la vida no tiene sentido, hizo que la libertad tuviera por fundamento el absurdo de la existencia. De aqui que la noción de libertad Camusiana se delimite como libertad absurda. La pregunta que nos formulamos en la presente monografía consiste en saber si en realidad la respuesta que Camus propuso termina por resolver el problema de la libertad, o si, por el contrario, la idea de libertad del filósofo francés da lugar a nuevas problemáticas que, en ultimas, terminan por revelar una paradoja en dichas respuestas. En ese sentido, se hace importante indagar más a fondo acerca de la consecuencia que trae para la concepción de la existencia humana el tipo de libertad que propone Albert Camus. A raíz de ello, el presente trabajo de grado tiene como objetivo principal demostrar el determinismo derivado del concepto de libertad absurda, expuesto por Albert Camus en su ensayo El mito de Sísifo a través de la figura de Don Juan.
dc.description.abstractenglishFreedom is a controversial concept in the history of philosophy because of its relation to determinism and to the religious faculty of free will. In the 20th century, the French writer Albert Camus made freedom the central idea of his existentialist thought. Based on the idea that life has no meaning, he made freedom have as its foundation the absurd of existence. Hence the notion of camusian freedom is defined as absurd freedom. The question we pose in this monograph is whether Camus' proposed answer actually ends up resolving the problem of freedom, or, on the contrary, the French philosopher's idea of freedom gives rise to new problems, which, in the end, end up manifesting a paradox in that answer. In this sense, it is important to investigate in more depth the consequences of the type of freedom proposed by Albert Camus for the conception of human existence. As a result, the main objective of this text is to demonstrate the determinism derived from the concept of absurd freedom, exemplified by Albert Camus in his essay The myth of Sisyphus through the figure of Don Juan.
