dc.description.abstractDentro del amplio espectro de temas que guardan relación con una problemática de tanta actualidad como la protección del medio ambiente, la gestión del manejo de los residuos sólidos, el uso racional del agua potable y la generación de aguas residuales ocupa un lugar muy importante dentro de la gestión ambiental del planeta. Esta gestión integrada es el término aplicado a todas las actividades asociadas con el manejo de los diversos flujos de residuos dentro de la sociedad; y su meta básica es administrar los residuos de una forma que sea compatible con el medio ambiente y la salud pública. Esta monografía presenta un diagnóstico y Alternativas que contiene los elementos conceptuales para avanzar hacia la gestión integrada de residuos sólidos, uso racional del agua potable y de la generación de aguas residuales, ara este caso en el casco urbano del municipio de Ortega Tolima. Todo con la finalidad de ayudar al cuidado de nuestra madre tierra con todos sus recursos naturales. Un programa educativo efectivo hará que los miembros de la comunidad vayan de una falta de conocimiento a un estado de interés, para luego de eso adoptar actitudes de cambio, hasta llegar a un cambio de actitud y comportamiento total.

This monograph presents a diagnosis and Alternatives that it contains the conceptual elements to advance toward the step integrated of solid residues, rational use of drinking water and of the generation of residual waters, altar this case in the urban área of Ortega Tolima's municipality. Everything with the aim of helping in care of our mother earth with all your natural resources.
