dc.description.abstractEn la actualidad Colombia y la mayoría de países del mundo usan cuatro (4) tipos de transporte (aéreo, fluvial, marítimo y por carretera), los cuales facilitan el traslado y transporte tanto de personas como de carga, de un destino a otro. Algunas de las características y ventajas que ofrecen los distintos tipos de transporte son: economía, versatilidad, flexibilidad, largas distancias, gran capacidad de carga, seguridad, ahorro en tiempo, amplia cobertura, límites en las dimensiones, entre otras. El transporte aéreo es uno de los medios de transporte más importantes e influyentes en la economía nacional e internacional y teniendo en cuenta la dispersión geográfica, el estado de las carreteras, el tiempo de traslado y sus costos, ha sido catalogado como un servicio público de alto impacto esencial para la sociedad y el desarrollo industrial del país. Uno de los principales factores que influye en su costo es la disponibilidad de los combustibles, lo cual incluye el transporte del combustible desde las refinerías hasta los aeropuertos. Por lo tanto, se hace pertinente realizar un estudio descriptivo del proceso de transporte del combustible utilizado para abastecimiento y operación de aviones en Colombia. Este incluye, el conocimiento de sus condiciones de producción, normatividad nacional e internacional sobre el transporte de combustible, parámetros de calidad, transporte, almacenamiento y entrega a los clientes que se encargan del abastecimiento de los aviones y que garantizan su óptima y segura operación. Adicionalmente, resulta importante determinar cuál ha sido la evolución presentada en relación con el transporte del combustible y el tipo de estrategias que se han creado para su optimización, cumpliendo con las condiciones y especificaciones de calidad, cuidado y preservación del medio ambiente, así como la viabilidad y/o ahorro económico que se puede ver reflejado en las estrategias aplicadas a su evolución y la mejora en el transporte del combustible para aviones en Colombia. *
dc.description.abstractenglishAt present Colombia and most of the countries of the world use four (4) types of transport (land, sea, air and rail), which facilitate the transfer and transport of both people and cargo from one destination to another. Some of the characteristics and advantages offered by the different types of transport are economy, versatility, flexibility, long distances, great load capacity, safety, time saving, wide coverage, and limits on dimensions, among others. Air transport is one of the most important and influential means of transport in the national and international economy and taking into account the geographical dispersion, the state of the roads, the time of transfer and its costs, has been classified as a public service of high impact essential for society and the industrial development of the country. One of the main factors that influence its cost is the availability of fuels, which includes the transportation of fuel from refineries to airports. Therefore, it is pertinent to carry out a descriptive study of the transportation process of the fuel used to supply and operate aircraft in Colombia. This includes knowledge of their production conditions, national and international regulations on fuel transport, quality parameters, transportation, storage and delivery to customers who are responsible for the supply of aircraft and ensure their optimal and safe operation. Additionally, it is important to determine what has been the evolution presented in relation to the transport of fuel and the type of strategies that have been created for its optimization, complying with the conditions and specifications of quality, care and preservation of the environment, as well as the viability and / or economic savings that can be seen reflected in the strategies applied to their evolution and the improvement in the transportation of fuel for aircraft in Colombia. *
