dc.description.abstractPropuesta motivada por el interés que se despertó por mi parte, se hizo un acercamiento a mis orígenes familiares, descubriendo así las raíces gitanas. Para ello se realizó una investigación sobre la etnia gitana, sus tradiciones, sus costumbres y su diario vivir, con el fin de hacer un acercamiento a un pasado, que hasta el momento se encontraba oculto, tal vez por protección hacia la familia, o porque se quería evitar la intromisión de otras personas Además de reflexionar sobre la invisibilidad en que se encuentran muchas de estas familias y entre estas la mía se considera necesario que se hagan esfuerzos por rescatar los conocimientos ancestrales de este grupo, como es el de la quiromancia, más concretamente de la lectura de la mano, el cual se sigue practicando el día de hoy en mi familia y sigue vigente como la única tradición que permanece viva en el presente. Por tal motivo, para la presente propuesta se usó un diseño metodológico y etnográfico, dentro del cual usé las siguientes herramientas: la entrevista, observación participativa con familiares y gitanos de la actualidad, así como un guía turístico de la casa de la cultura de Girón y expertos en el tema. Además, revisé lo mejor posible, la genealogía y coincidencias de mis apellidos con los de los gitanos, para realizar un árbol genealógico y una conexión con el linaje; el resultado de este proceso fue una propuesta plástica que busca acercarse más a las raíces gitanas, que, sin duda, se querían conocer, en la cual se mezcla la esencia del nomadismo de la comunidad gitana, con signos y colores que han transcendido el tiempo en la vida de esta etnia y en la mía.
dc.description.abstractenglishProposal motivated by the interest that was awakened on my part, an approach to my family origins was made, thus discovering my gypsy roots. For this purpose, a research on the gypsy ethnic group, their traditions, their customs and their daily life was carried out, in order to make an approach to a past, which until now was hidden, perhaps for protection of the family, or because they wanted to avoid the intrusion of other people. Besides reflecting on the invisibility in which many of these families, including the author's, find themselves, it is considered necessary to make efforts to rescue the ancestral knowledge of this group, such as palmistry, more specifically palm reading, which is still practiced today in the author's family and is still in force as the only tradition that remains alive in the present. For this reason, a methodological and ethnographic design was used for this proposal, within which the following tools were used: interviews, participatory observation with family members and gypsies of the present, as well as a tour guide from the house of culture of Giron and experts on the subject. In addition, the genealogy and coincidences of the author's surnames with those of the gypsies were reviewed, as best as possible, to make a family tree and a connection with the lineage; the result of this process was a plastic proposal, which seeks to get closer to the gypsy roots, which undoubtedly wanted to know, in which the essence of nomadism of the gypsy community is mixed with signs and colors that have transcended time in the life of this ethnic group and in that of the author.
