dc.description.abstractLos estudios más conocidos sobre el paramilitarismo en Colombia han adoptado la posición de las víctimas. De esta manera la necesidad no debe ser solo oír las voces de las víctimas, para re-victimizarlos y reconocer que sufrieron, pasando por alto un estudio más crítico e histórico, por lo - surge principalmente del vacío de conocimiento que existe sobre este tema en la región. Por ello este proyecto plantea la realización de la reconstrucción y consolidación del paramilitarismo en este municipio, con el objeto de describir y analizar los antecedentes del Paramilitarismo, su desarrollo y proceso de desmovilización por medio de la Ley De Justicia y Paz y las consecuencias de esta para el municipio. Este trabajo es la búsqueda de la recuperación de la memoria histórica del Municipio de Tibu para de esta manera entender las dinámicas de conflicto que se presentaron en Colombia durante el accionar de los grupos Paramilitares, esto desde una percepción de un estudio de caso regional: en el cual se espera poder dar a conocer el proceso histórico, sus causas, acciones y consecuencias, para conocer y no repetir una situación similar. De esta forma se busca que los diversos actores sean parte activa de la construcción histórica, dando cuenta a la sociedad de los procesos y del accionar económico, social, político y militar que los paramilitares ejecutaron en la región, y de esta forma poder comprender las fases de ocupación y consolidación de paramilitarismo y las afectaciones que dejaron a la población civil, por lo que surgen preguntas tales como: ¿Cómo los paramilitares lograron establecer su poder en la región de Tibu en Norte de Santander? y ¿cuáles fueron las diferentes consecuencias que esto produjo en la población y en la región?
dc.description.abstractenglishThe most recognize studies on paramilitarism in Colombia adopted the position of the victims. In this way the need should not be only to hear the voices of the victims, to re-victimize them and recognize that they suffered, disgergarding the more critical and historical study, so the investigation "PARAMILITARISM IN TIBÚ, NORTH OF SANTANDER" (PARAMILITARISM IN TIBÚ, NORTH OF SANTANDER) 1999-2005), arises mainly from the knowledge gap that exists about this topic in the region. Therefore this project plan the construction and consolidation of paramilitarism in this municipality, in order to describe and analyze the background of paramilitarism, its development and demobilization process through the Justice and Peace Law and the consequences of this for the municipality. Moreover, this project is the recovery of the historical memory of the Municipality of Tibú, for this way of understanding the dynamics of conflict that is presented in Colombia for the group of paramilitaries; this from a perception of a regional case study: it is expected to be able to known the historical process, causes, actions and consequences and not repeat a similar situation. In this way it is sought that the actors are an active part of the historical construction, into account to the society of the processes, economic, social, political and military actions that the paramilitaries executed in the region, in this way to understand the phases of occupation and consolidation of paramilitaries and the consequences that they left on the civilian population, for which questions arise such as: How did the paramilitaries manage to establish their power in the Tibú region in north of Santander? What was doing the different consequences that this produced in the population and in the region?
