dc.description.abstractEn la Universidad Industrial de Santander Sede Barbosa se realizó la caracterización fisicoquímica del agua, la determinación de la calidad del agua mediante los índices de contaminación y el plan de gestión del riesgo para el manejo de vertimientos líquidos de la PTAR; análisis requeridos para la solicitud del permiso de vertimientos ante la autoridad ambiental competente-CAS. Para la caracterización de la fuente receptora se realizó un monitoreo de 8 am a 7 pm, en los cuales se recolectaron datos físico-químicos de cuatro puntos: entrada y salida de PTAR; aguas arriba y abajo del vertimiento. Los análisis se realizaron en el Laboratorio de Consultas Industriales de la Universidad Industrial de Santander. En el diseño del plan de gestión del riesgo para el manejo de vertimientos líquidos, se tomó como base los términos de referencia sugeridos por el Decreto 3930 de 2010 (Resolución 2012); se muestra el análisis de riesgo del sistema de vertimiento dirigido a la valoración de la probabilidad de ocurrencia de una amenaza, estimación del riesgo y medidas de mitigación y prevención para el manejo de desastres para tres escenarios correspondientes al análisis de amenazas internas, externas y ambientales según norma UNE 150008:2008. La amenaza con mayor riesgo fue el cambio en la calidad del agua, se propuso cuatro medidas para la mitigación de este riesgo: Capacitación del personal, Monitoreo de la calidad del agua, Evaluación de infraestructura de la planta y mantenimiento y Comunicación de la PTAR con un sistema de acueducto. Este plan de gestión permitirá obtener el permiso de vertimiento correspondiente para cumplir con la normatividad.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn the Universidad Industrial de Santander at Barbosa, was realized the physico-chemical characterization of the water, determination of the quality of the water through the contamination indexes and the risk management plan for the liquid discharges treatment plant, WTP. This analysis are required by the environmental authority, Corporación Autónoma de Bucaramanga, CAS. For the physico chemical characterization, the sampling was taken from 8 am to 7 pm in four points: the entrance and the exit of the WTP, the upstream and the downstream of the discharge of the WTP. Analysis were performed in the Laboratorio de Consultas Industriales of the Universidad Industrial de Santander. In the design of the risk management plant, for the discharge of WTP, it was taken as reference the decree 3930 of 2010. It is shown the assessment of the probability of occurrence, estimation of the risks, mitigation and prevention actions for the management for the three scenarios that correspond to the authorization for dumping the discharge of the WTP to the river. The threat with the higher risk was the change in the quality parameters of the water, it was proposed four actions for the mitigation of this risks: people training, monitoring the quality of the water, evaluation of the infrastructure of the plant and coupling of the WTP with the aqueduct. This management plant will allow obtain the licence of the discharge to fulfill the environmental law in Colombia.
