dc.description.abstractEsta investigación histórica busca analizar las huelgas sindicales llevadas a cabo por los trabajadores de la empresa Industrial Agraria La Palma "INDUPALMA" entre 1971 y 1978. Estas protestas se enmarcaron en un contexto laboral de precariedad y numerosas violaciones a los derechos humanos, impulsadas por la rápida expansión de los monocultivos de palma de aceite a nivel nacional e internacional y la complicidad del Estado con las empresas palmeras. Utilizando diferentes enfoques teóricos sobre los procesos sindicales en el país, se llevará a cabo un análisis crítico de lo ocurrido durante estos años, a través de la revisión de material bibliográfico, informes de derechos humanos, fuentes primarias y testimonios orales.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis historical research aims to analyze the labor strikes carried out by workers of the Industrial Agraria La Palma "INDUPALMA" company between 1971 and 1978. These protests were framed within a context of precarious labor conditions and numerous human rights violations, fueled by the national and international expansion of palm oil monocultures, the complicity of the State with palm companies. Using different theoretical approaches to labor union processes in the country, a critical analysis of what happened during these years will be carried out through the review of bibliographic material, human rights reports, primary sources, and oral testimonies.
