dc.description.abstractenglish | The commitments that the country currently has for the supply of natural gas tend to increase in the residential and industrial sectors, nevertheless, the available infrastructure is limited, reason why it is necessary to create strategies to optimize the capacity of processing plants and existing pipelines. These strategies create important technical challenges focused on maintaining the reliability and integrity of those piping systems that have operated for more than 20 years and that can still be used. The gas production and treatment fields in Casanare are an example of this, for this reason in this project the state of structural integrity of an interconnected system of flow lines that will allow optimization of gas transfer between fields is determined, as an alternative for the use of the gas treatment plant in Cusiana. The integrity evaluation of the pipelines was carried out using the MFL-type inline inspection technique (ILI), which identified the presence of metal loss anomalies and geometric defects. Validation of the ILI results were performed with complementary ultrasound techniques to obtain data with greater precision of the real geometry of the defect. Through the level 1-2 remaining strength evaluation methodology, it was determined that the failure stress value of the defect is higher than the design stress of the pipeline, which is why the pipeline is within the safe operating margin. Likewise, those factors that generate the phenomenon of internal corrosion of the pipeline were evaluated, such as the presence of corrosive gases in the associated wells, which present partial pressure values of CO2 greater than 30 psi, cataloging this fluid as potentially corrosive. On the other hand, with the monitoring of flow and the presence of solids less than 1lb/10,000 barrels, the mechanism of erosion damage is ruled out. Another threat identified is the mechanism of external corrosion damage and its predominant factor is due to the aggressiveness of the soil due to the presence of (BSR) sulfate-reducing bacteria with historical data of content of these greater than 100 bacteria/ml. After having analyzed the factors that generate defects in the lines, the inspection and repair plan was issued, establishing ILI, CIPS and DCVG inspection frequencies, every 5 years, annual monitoring for fluid sampling activities, right-of-way routes, coating inspection, among others, with the goal of safe operation of the pipelines at design conditions until 2035.
