dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo surge ante la necesidad que posee la empresa UT S&W Locaciones para fortalecer las operaciones de sus proyectos de construcción mediante la implementación y puesta en práctica de técnicas y herramientas que le permitan un manejo eficiente de la gestión del tiempo, entendiendo que la probabilidad de éxito de un proyecto depende directamente de como evaluar la calidad del cronograma. Este trabajo de aplicación desarrolla una herramienta de seguimiento y control de la gestión del tiempo en los ción de técnicas de cronogramas con el uso de la herramienta informática Microsoft Project para la realización de cronogramas, así como la aplicación técnicas War Room para facilitar la toma de decisiones. La propuesta del autor realiza un análisis de la calidad de los cronogramas de los proyectos vigentes y plantea la implementación de una herramienta estructurada en 5 componentes: Disponer de una herramienta informática, Disponer de personal capacitado, Proceso de monitoreo y control, Estandarización de reportes, Retroalimentación mediante War Room. Se concluye que la implementación de éste tipo de soluciones, así como el cambio de mentalidad de la alta gerencia, permiten obtener información pertinente y suficiente para la toma de decisiones a tiempo, implementando acciones correctivas efectivas, siendo esto altamente beneficioso para la empresa.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis work arises from the need of the company UT S&W Locations to strengthen the operations of its construction projects by implementing and putting into practice techniques and tools that allow it to be efficient in managing time management, understanding that the probability The success of a project depends directly on how to evaluate the quality of the schedule. This application work develops a monitoring and control tool for time management in projects for the company "Temporary Union S&W Locations", by applying the techniques of schedules defined in the PMBOK® 6th edition computer tool to carry out schedules, as well as the War Room technical application to facilitate decision-making. The author's proposal performs an analysis of the quality of the schedules of the current projects and proposes the implementation of a tool structured in 5 components: Having a computer tool, Having trained personnel, Monitoring and control process, Standardization of reports, Feedback through War Room. It is concluded that the implementation of this type of solutions, as well as the change of mindset of senior management, allow obtaining pertinent and sufficient information for timely decision-making, implementing effective corrective actions, this being highly beneficial for the company.
