dc.description.abstractSe quiere dejar planteado la creación de una POLÍTICA INSTITUCIONAL PARA EL DESARROLLO DE UN PRODUCTO TURÍSTICO PARA LA CIUDAD DEL SOCORRO COMO PORTAL DE LA RUTA COMUNERA, Este Municipio posee una ubicación o ruta estratégica por encontrarse en el corredor turístico del departamento, haciéndola además acreedora a una de las mejores opciones claras de posibilidades de ser explotada por la existencia de unas potencialidades histórico-cultural que no muchos municipios poseen. A partir del Sector Turístico pueden desarrollarse muchas actividades conexas. De allí se desprende dinámico económica, social, cultural, recreativa, deportiva y educativa, entre otras. El rescate de los valores culturales, potenciar el municipio desde el punto de vista turístico presupone inversiones significativas pero fundamentalmente acciones Interinstitucionales. Es así como se constituye en un tema de revisión ineludible el concerniente a la infraestructura hotelera; las cifras demuestran la falta de capacidad hotelera, para que el Municipio adelante proyectos en esta área. Igualmente se detecto a través de los porcentajes de la encuesta que el gobierno municipal y las diferentes entidades encargadas de regular y ofrecer un buen servicio a los visitantes, tienen deficiencias por falta de una política o reglamentación que le permita ampliar mejor el sector turístico enfocado en lo histórico y cultural, permitiendo que sea más atractivo y que cumpla con todas las necesidades y expectativas de los diferentes visitantes propios y extraños, para ofrecerles mejores condiciones y que a su vez este Municipio sea de proyección nacional e internacional, por su gran riqueza histórica y cultural patrimonio único de esta
