dc.description.abstractEste trabajo resulta de una práctica realizada en la Sección de Contabilidad de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, la cual tenía como objetivo realizar un análisis a la documentación producida por la dependencia, tanto de la que se encuentra relacionada en la Tabla de Retención Documental como la que no se encuentra allí; este proceso se realizó buscando identificar la pertinencia de cada una de las series, subseries y tipos documentales con el fin de actualizar este instrumento archivístico. Para el desarrollo de cada uno de los capítulos, que corresponden a cada una de las fases en las cuales se dividió la práctica, se usó legislación archivística colombiana, así como las guías propuestas por la universidad, sobre todo lo que tiene que ver con el manejo de los archivos y documentación. Igualmente, para el proceso de valoración documental se hizo un trabajo interdisciplinario recurriendo a la historia, la archivística, el derecho, la contabilidad y la administración con el fin de realizar un análisis correcto a la documentación producida en la dependencia. Durante el desarrollo de la práctica se identificaron las diferentes problemáticas que afectan al archivo de la sección, así como las recomendaciones para solucionar estas, igualmente se anexan los diferentes formatos que debe presentar la dependencia con el fin de actualizar su Tabla de Retención Documental, así como para realizar el proceso de transferencia documental. *
dc.description.abstractenglishThis work is the result of a practice carried out in the Accounting Section of the Industrial University of Santander, which had the purpose of carrying out an analysis of the documentation produced by this section, identifying the ones related in the Document Retention Table as well as the ones that are not there; this process was carried out seeking to identify the relevance of each of the series, sub-series and documentary types in order to update this archival instrument. For the development of each of the chapters, which correspond to each of the phases in which the practice was divided, Colombian archival legislation was used, as well as the guides proposed by the university, especially those who deal with file management and documentation. Likewise, interdisciplinary work was done for the document assessment process, resorting to history, archival, law, accounting and administration in order to make a correct analysis of the documentation produced in the unit. During the development of the practice, the different problems that affect the archive of the section were identified, as well as the recommendations to solve these; the different formats that the dependency must present in order to update its Document Retention Table are also attached, as well as the ones necessary to carry out the document transfer process. *
