dc.description.abstractENTIDADES INTERESADAS EN EL PROYECTO Universidad Industrial de Santander UIS. Escuela de Diseño Industrial Empresa CONTUGAS SAC Comunidad del departamento de Ica Perú El 7 de marzo de 2009 se firma contrato de concesión entre el estado peruano y la empresa CONTUGAS SAC. El proyecto comprende un sistema de distribución de gas natural por red de ductos (troncal, ramales y red de distribución) para abastecimiento en el departamento de Ica, Perú, considerando un uso industrial, comercial y residencial. Comprende la construcción de ramales desde la red troncal que se conectarán con los centros poblados de Pisco, Chincha, Ica, Nazca y Marcona. Estos ramales llegarán a un City Gate ubicado al ingreso de cada centro poblado. La longitud total aproximada de los ramales es de 100.57 Km. Comprende además la construcción de redes de distribución de media y baja presión, en los centros poblados señalados, para abastecimiento de consumidores residenciales, comerciales e industriales. Estas redes abastecerán aproximadamente a 50.000 beneficiarios. El desarrollo de este trabajo de grado pretende el fortalecimiento de la identidad de la empresa CONTUGAS, la cual depende en gran parte de la forma en cómo esta es percibida por los nuevos usuarios del gas natural en Perú, buscando un acercamiento a los habitantes de la región con la exhibición, mediante técnicas de visual merchandising, tratando los factores que podrían afectar al usuario y por tanto el uso que se haga del gas natural cuando ya esté siendo usado en sus hogares. Cuando se logre alinear los diferentes factores determinantes de las cualidades formales, ergonómicas y funcionales se logra a su vez sensibilizar más a los usuarios lo que les permitirá disfrutar, reconocer y aceptar esta nueva experiencia, siendo este objetivo principal que perseguimos en el desarrollo de este proyecto.

Escuela de Diseño Industrial (School of Industrial Design) Company CONTUGAS SAC Communities of the Department of Ica, Peru On March 7th 2009 a concession contract was signed between the Peruvian State and the Company CONTUGAS SAC. The project includes a natural gas distribution system through a pipeline network (trunk, branches and distribution network) for the supply of the Department of Ica, Peru, considering industrial, commercial and household use. The project covers the construction of branch pipelinesfrom the trunk network that will be connected to the villages/cities of Chincha, Ica, Pisco, Nasca andMarcona. These brancheswill reach a City Gate located at the entrance of each city. The total length of the branchpipelines is of approximately 100.57 Km. It also includes the construction of medium and low-pressuredistribution networks,in the above-mentioned villages, for the supply of households, commercial and industrial consumption. These networks will supply about 50.000 beneficiaries. The development of the present Graduate Thesis is aiming at the reinforcement of the identity of the company CONTUGAS, which greatly depends on the way in which the new natural gas users in Peru see the company. It is aiming at getting closer to the inhabitants of the region through the exhibition with visual merchandising and buyology techniques, dealing with the factors that must be known by the user and consequently with the use of natural gas once it is being consumed in the households. Once we achieve an alignment of the different determining factors of the formal, ergonomic and functional qualities, we achieve a greater awareness of the users, which allows them to better enjoy, recognize and accept this new experience, this being the main objective pursued through the development of the project.
