dc.description.abstractEn el departamento de Santander se encuentra la represa Latora y el área de influencia del embalse Topocoro, allí se registran diferentes biomas, tales como: el bosque húmedo tropical y parte del enclave seco del río Chicamocha. El espejo de agua del embalse está rodeado principalmente de predios agrícolas en regeneración con algunos parches de bosque natural y bosque secundario. Con el fin de caracterizar la riqueza y composición de la flora del área de influencia directa del embalse Topocoro, se realizó un monitoreo de la vegetación en 32 parcelas anidadas con un área de 0.1 ha (50 x 20 m) cada una, para un total de 3,2 Ha. Se registraron en total 3273 individuos pertenecientes a 198 morfoespecies, agrupadas en 128 géneros y 51 familias. Las familias más abundantes fueron: Boraginaceae, Fabaceae y Rutaceae. Las especies más abundantes fueron: Cordia thaisiana, Cordia alliodora y Pseudosamanea guachapele. La vegetación estudiada es similar a la de otros Bh-Ts. La zona de influencia del embalse (PZI) podría corresponder a una vegetación con patrones sucesionales avanzados, por su parte, la zona de aguas abajo (PAA) del embalse muestran una mayor abundancia de especies pioneras propias de una zona perturbada.
dc.description.abstractenglishBoth, the Latora dam and the area of influence of the Topocoro reservoir are located in the department of Santander, where different biomes have been recorded, such as: the tropical wet forest and part of the dry enclave of the Chicamocha river. The reservoir's water body is mainly surrounded by regenerating agricultural properties with some patches of natural and secondary forests. In order to characterize the richness and composition of the flora in the area of influence of the Topocoro reservoir, vegetation monitoring was carried out in 32 nested plots covering 0.1 ha (50 x 20 m) each, for a total area of 3.2 Ha. A total of 3,273 individuals belonging to 198 morphospecies were recorded, grouped into 128 genera and 51 families. The most abundant families were: Boraginaceae, Fabaceae and Rutaceae. The most abundant species were: Cordia thaisiana, Cordia alliodora and Pseudosamanea guachapele. The studied vegetation is similar to that of other Bh-Ts. The area of influence of the reservoir (PZI) could correspond to a vegetation with advanced successional patterns, while the downstream zone (PAA) of the reservoir shows a greater abundance of pioneer species typical of a disturbed area.
