dc.description.abstractEl artículo académico se centra en la noción de muerte del filósofo y emperador Marco Aurelio desde la obra Meditaciones. A su vez, se analizan los aspectos morales de la muerte presentados en la película Violines en el cielo del director Yojiro Takita, a saber: la ataraxia, la dignidad, la libertad interior y la autarquía. Todo ello, con el fin de examinar el concepto de muerte que muestran estos dos puntos de vista, a través de la realización de un análisis profundo de los aspectos anteriormente mencionados que, tanto para el filósofo estoico Marco Aurelio como para la película, son fundamentales. Ambos muestran como estos aspectos son necesarios para que el ser humano pueda aceptar la muerte, en la medida en que ayudan a vivir el duelo de forma temporal y moderada respecto a sus pasiones sin quedarse en un constante retorno. Además, se trata de comprender la importancia del cine cómo pensamiento filosófico siendo una relación indispensable a la hora de entender temas como la muerte que en la actualidad siguen siendo foco de discusión y una noción cubierta de un velo de prejuicios sociales. También, se quiere analizar el pensamiento del director de cine expuesta al juicio crítico del espectador para crear un diálogo desde la filosofía, con el fin de encaminar nuevos aportes y un examen profundo que permita ver el cine como un campo lleno de pensamientos y perspectivas con alto sentido filosófico. 1
dc.description.abstractenglishThis academic article is focused on the notion of death according to the philosopher and Emperor Marcus Aureliu death from his work Meditations. In addition, it is analysed moral aspects of the concept of death presented in the film Departures directed by Yojiro Takita, that is to say: ataraxia, dignity, inner freedom and autarchy. All that, with the aim to examine the idea of death presented from these two points of view, through a deep analysis execution of the concepts mentioned above, which are essential not only for the stoic philosopher, Marcus Aurelius, but for the film as well. Both point out how all these aspects are needed for a human being to accept death, since they help to deal with the mourning in a temporal and moderate way regarding its passions without staying in a continuous return. Moreover, it is about to comprehend the importance of the seventh art as a philosophical thought, being an indispensable relationship at the moment of understanding topics such as death, which nowadays is still the focus of discussion is intended to be analcreate a dialog from the philosophy, with the aim of leading new contributions and an deep examination which lets see the seventh art as a field full of thoughts and perspectives with a higher philosophical sense. 3
