dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo y la intervención realizada en las comunidades de pescadores de los cinco municipios del área de influencia de la ciénaga de Zapatosa, en los departamentos del Cesar y Magdalena, pretende realizar un censo socio-económico de dichas poblaciones y desarrollar un proceso de obtención de datos estadísticos en cuanto a su nivel de vida y la relación con el medio ambiente, con el fin de aportar elementos que permitan establecer líneas de acción encaminadas al mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de estas comunidades. OBJETIVOS Realizar el censo socio-económico de las comunidades del área de influencia de la Cienaga de Zapatosa. Establecer indicadores de los niveles de vida como los índices de natalidad, el nivel de escolaridad, la distribución poblacional por edades, la ocupación, el nivel de ingresos, así como la tenencia de la vivienda, la cobertura de los servicios públicos y otras condiciones relevantes las poblaciones de la Cienaga de Zapatosa. Determinar en el complejo Cenagoso de Zapatosa y su área de influencia los posibles problemas que enfrentan, causados por el deterioro de los recursos naturales y del ambiente, originados por sobre explotación e inadecuado manejo de los recursos.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present work and the intervention realized in the fishermen's communities of five municipalities of the area of influence of Zapatosa's marsh, in the departments of the Cesar and Magdalena, tries to realize a social and economic census of the above mentioned populations and to develop a process of obtaining of statistical information as for the standard of living and the relation with the environment, in order to contribute elements that allow to establish lines of action directed to the improvement of the quality of life of these communities. OBJETIVES: ˜ To realize the socio-economic census of the communities of the area of influence of Zapatosa's Marsh. ˜ To establish indicators of the standards of living as the birth rates, the level of education, the population distribution for ages, the occupation, the level of income, as well as the possession of the housing, the coverage of the public services and other relevant conditions the populations of Zapatosa's Marsh. ˜ To determine in Zapatosa's Muddy complex and the area of influence the possible problems that face, caused by the deterioration of the natural resources and of the environment, originated for on exploitation and inadequate managing of the resources.
