dc.description.abstractEl siguiente informe presenta la práctica docente realizada en la Universidad Industrial de Santander, UIS, sede principal, en la ciudad de Bucaramanga. Esta práctica está enmarcada en el proceso tutor y de apoyo a un estudiante universitario sordo perteneciente a la Escuela de Ingeniería y cursa la carrera académica Ingeniería Eléctrica. Se muestra la experiencia docente y las estrategias utilizadas para promover el aprendizaje del español escrito, entendido como una segunda lengua en el caso del alumno sordo porque su primera lengua es la Lengua de Señas Colombiana, LSC. Teniendo en cuenta esto, se evidencia las prácticas de enseñanza que resultaron positivas utilizando métodos de adaptación en las clases y los materiales dados al estudiante; Y, se identifica las estrategias que resultaron infructíferas cuando se dejaba de lado la importancia de que la docente practicante usara la LSC y la necesidad de actividades pensadas en función de las diferentes habilidades del estudiante dado que su lengua es visual, gestual y espacial. Además, se expone las dificultades del entorno educativo debido a la barrera del idioma y las del estudiante frente a ese contexto que no usa su lengua como medio de comunicación. Este trabajo responde a las características de una investigación cualitativa, y los instrumentos de recolección de información propios de una práctica docente, a saber, diarios de campo, entrevistas, construcción de planes de clase, materiales didácticos, entre otros.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe following report presents the teaching practice carried out at the Industrial University of Santander, UIS, main campus, in the city of Bucaramanga. This internship is part of the tutoring and support process for a deaf university student belonging to the School of Engineering and studying Electrical Engineering. The teaching experience and the strategies used to promote the learning of written Spanish are shown, understood as a second language in the case of the deaf student because their first language is the Colombian Sign Language, LSC. Taking this into account, the teaching practices that were positive using adaptation methods in the classes and the materials given to the student are evidenced; And, the strategies that were unsuccessful were identified when the importance of the practicing teacher using the LSC and the need for activities designed according to the different abilities of the student was left aside, since their language is visual, gestural and spatial. In addition, the difficulties of the educational environment due to the language barrier and those of the student facing that context that does not use their language as a means of communication are exposed. This work responds to the characteristics of a qualitative research, and the information gathering instruments of a teaching practice, namely, field diaries, interviews, construction of lesson plans, didactic materials, among others.
