| dc.description.abstract | Este documento describe el desarrollo del trabajo de grado realizado en el proceso Seguimiento Institucional de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, el cual hace parte de los procesos de apoyo a las funciones misionales de Docencia, Investigación y Extensión. El fundamento para la ejecución del proyecto fue la norma NTC ISO 9001 versión 2000, la cual fue aplicada en 5 etapas: Diagnostico, que correspondió a la evaluación inicial del proceso con respecto a los requisitos de la norma; Planificación del Sistema de Gestión de Calidad en cuanto a la política, objetivos e indicadores de calidad y la estructuración del proceso, Documentación, etapa en la cual se elaboraron, revisaron y aprobaron los documentos definidos para el proceso; Implementación, es decir, la puesta en marcha del sistema mediante la utilización de los documentos y la medición de indicadores y la Revisión por la Dirección y auditorías donde se verificó la capacidad del sistema para cumplir los requisitos especificados y la eficacia del proceso. La realización de estas etapas estuvo acompañada por capacitaciones, que sensibilizaron al personal respecto a la importancia y beneficios de adoptar una herramienta administrativa como un Sistema de Gestión de Calidad y fueron soporte a todas las actividades desarrolladas durante el proyecto. Este proyecto de grado se complementa con el desarrollo del Sistema de Gestión de Calidad en los otros procesos de apoyo y fue una contribución al proceso en la medida que permitió enfocar todas sus actividades hacia la mejora continua, lo cual es evidente en el compromiso del personal y en el balance positivo obtenido después de la etapa de evaluación. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This document describes the development of the Work of Degree made in the monitoring institutional process of the Universidad Industrial de Santander, which does part of the support processes to the missional function of Teaching, Researching and extension. The fundament for the Project execution was the NTC ISO 9001 statement version 2000 that was applied on five (5) steps. Diagnostic, which corresponds to the first evaluation of the process with regard to the statement requirements; planning of the quality management system as for politics, quality indications, and process structure; Documentation, step about make, check, and approve the final documents of the process; Implement, that means, the start of the system whit the use of documents and the indicator measuring and the last step is the Direction Review and audit where check the full capacity of the system to complete all the requirement and the quality in the process. The development of these stages was accompanied for trainings that sensitize the staff about the importance and benefits of adopting an administrative tool as a Quality management System and they were a support to all the activities developed during the project. This project of degree complements whit the quality management system development in the support processes and was a contribution on the process mind while all the activities try to approach to a better improvement, which is evident in the commitment of the personnel and in the positive balance obtained after the stage of evaluation. | |
