dc.description.abstractCon este trabajo conoceremos la actual realidad, con respecto a la eficiencia y el desempeño del SITM del área metropolitana de Bucaramanga, direccionado a la revisión operacional de las rutas AC1, AC4 y P6. Para la realización de esta investigación se recolectó información por medio de los respectivos aforos en las rutas, tomando como días representativos, martes, miércoles y jueves, utilizando el método de sube y baja de pasajeros, tomando los tiempos de recorrido y número de pasajeros, información necesaria para calcular los atributos, dándonos una percepción importante de la eficiencia y desempeño operacional de estas rutas mencionadas. Finalmente, con objetivo de analizar la sostenibilidad de las rutas, se llevó a cabo un análisis económico tomando como referencia, los ingresos por pasajeros y los costos por kilómetro recorrido. El estudio permitió definir ingresos y egresos y de esta manera diagnosticar la actual situación económica de las rutas en cuestión.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis research investigates the current situation of the SITM for Bucaramanga’s metropolitan area with respect to efficiency and performance. It is focus on the operational revisions of the following routes: AC1, AC4 and P6. The information collected for this research work was taken from the registry of the routes for the following representative days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The model used the passengers up and down methodology, recording the time of the route and the total number of passengers. This information was necessary to calculate the attributes that helped to obtain an important perception of the efficiency and performance of the operation for the routes under analysis. Finally, with the primary objective of the routes sustainability in mind, it was necessary to analyze the economic impact using information such as the passages’ income and the cost per kilometer of each trip. Moreover, the study facilitated the definition of income and expenses, which allowed the diagnosis of the current economic situation of the routes under investigation.
