dc.description.abstractEn la actualidad, el acceso y la generación de conocimiento han alcanzado niveles sin precedentes, transformando la manera en que las sociedades interactúan con la información. Por tanto, la Apropiación Social del Conocimiento emerge como un concepto esencial, delineando el proceso mediante el cual la sociedad asume un rol activo en la comprensión, aplicación y difusión de la información; para tal aplicación, este seminario de investigación lleva a cabo una revisión documental de los últimos 10 años acerca de la Apropiación Social del Conocimiento en Colombia. Como resultado de la misma, se identificaron temas y discusiones principales, las cuales se abordaron en nueve sesiones divididas en las siguientes fases: “Orígenes y Antecedentes de la ASC en Colombia”; “Debate Conceptual de la ASC en Colombia”; “Política Pública de ASC en Colombia”; y, por último, “Experiencias de ASC en Colombia”. Como resultado se obtienen distintas reflexiones en torno a la ASC como objeto de frontera, los vacíos epistemológicos en su implementación; además, se identifican las dos áreas con mayor aplicación dentro de las ciencias sociales: la educación y la comunicación. Asimismo, las diversas críticas para la implementación y evaluación de procesos de ASC que contribuyen a la democratización del conocimiento futuro.
dc.description.abstractenglishNowadays, the access and production of knowledge have reached unprecedented levels, transforming how societies interact with information. Hence, the Social Appropriation of Knowledge (ASC in Spanish) emerges as an essential concept, outlining the process through which society plays an active role in the understanding, application, and diffusion of information; to develop this paper, we framed it within the methodology of Research Seminary, carrying out a documentary revision about the last ten (10) years of ASC in Colombia. The results obtained from this revision were the identification of topics and main discussions, which were presented in nine sessions divided into the following phases: Origins and precedents of the ASC in Colombia (phase one), Conceptual debate of the ASC in Colombia (phase two), Public policy in Colombia (phase three), and Experiences of the ASC in Colombia (phase four). As a result, we reflected upon the ASC as a boundary object, the epistemological voids of its implementation, the identification of the two main areas of application within social sciences (education and communication), as well as the various criticisms for the implementation and evaluation of the ASC, which contribute to democratizing further knowledge.
