Descripción de la responsabilidad social de la escuela de trabajo social de la Universidad Industrial de Santander en relación con los trabajos de grado formulados en los años 2004 y 2005

dc.description.abstractLa responsabilidad social ha logrado calar a nivel local, nacional e internacional, empieza a lograr reconocimiento en el ámbito empresarial, luego se introduce en el ámbito universitario y se denomina Responsabilidad Social Universitaria. En la Escuela de Trabajo Social de la Universidad Industrial de Santander se han llevado a cabo estudios de responsabilidad social de las organizaciones en donde se han hecho las prácticas académicas de los estudiantes; sin embargo a la fecha no ha sido estudiada o descrita la responsabilidad social universitaria de la Escuela de Trabajo Social, como propone el presente documento; específicamente analizarla a través de los trabajos de grado que los estudiantes formulan para optar por su título profesional; para ello se realiza una investigación cuantitativa, de tipo descriptivo, donde se aplica la técnica de investigación de análisis de contenido, con la cual se obtienen interesantes resultados que evidencian que la Escuela desarrolla procesos socialmente responsables, con metodología y propone alternativas a los problemas de desarrollo de la región relacionadas a las necesidades fundamentales propuestas por Manfred Max Neef. Así mismo se verifica que en los procesos de practicas se logran verificar cambios positivos en los diferentes aspectos de los actores participes de los procesos. Además de evidenciar la relación que la Escuela tiene con actores estatales en pro de la sociedad, al igual que con actores del sector privado. Igualmente se logra medir los niveles de participación de las comunidades en donde si participan, aunque llama la atención que solo es a nivel de información y formación, dejando de lado la consulta, el debate, el control y la gestión. Así mismo se detalla que la Escuela es líder en el trabajo con poblaciones vulnerables y que tiene impacto en las prácticas desarrolladas, igualmente se interactúa con otras disciplinas a favor de los procesos llevados a cabo. También es relevante que a través de la práctica se cumple con la visión y misión de la Escuela de Trabajo Social y por ultimo se destaca el manejo del tema ambiental.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe social responsibility has managed to pierce at local, national level and international, it begins to obtain recognition in the enterprise scope, soon it is introduced in the university scope and University Social Responsibility is denominated. In the School of Social Work of the Industrial University of Santander studies of social responsibility of the organizations have been carried out in where the practices have become academic of the students; nevertheless to the date it has not been studied or described the university social responsibility of the School of Social Work, as it proposes the present document; specifically to analyze it through the works of degree that the students formulate to decide on their professional title; for it a quantitative investigation is made, of descriptive type, where the technique of investigation of content analysis is applied, with which interesting results are obtained that they demonstrate that the School develops responsible processes socially, with methodology and proposes alternatives to the problems of development of the region related to the propose fundamental necessities by Manfred Max Neef. Also one verifies that in the processes of you practice are managed to verify positive changes in the different aspects from the actors you participate in the processes. Besides to demonstrate the relation that the School has with state actors for the society, like with actors of the private sector. Also it is managed to measure the levels of participation of the communities in where if they participate, although it calls the attention that single is at level of information and formation, leaving of side the consultation, the debate, the control and the management. Also it is detailed that the School is leader in the work with vulnerable populations and that has impact in the developed practices, also is interacted with other disciplines in favor of the carried out processes. Also he is excellent that through the practice fulfills the vision and mission of the School of Social Work and finally stands out the handling of the environmental subject.
